Endless Abyss is a space exploration game meant to be an easier to learn version of more hardcore space sims. Explore a set of procedural generated planets, take in the views, and complete various missions, all the while locating resource caches to craft new gear. Do keep an eye on your surroundings, though, as things aren’t always as they seem on first inspection… 

Features:

• Large, varied, and optimized procedural spherical planet generation
• 2 hand-crafted ships with complex systems and high-quality models, offering experienced players a bit of skill expression (around 75 or so individual buttons that do different things)
• 2 Scuffed abominations of ships that are being reworked (but are still available)
• Multiple alternate modes of transport (Hoverbike, Rover)
• Crafting (are we survival horror yet?)
• Advanced inventory and equipment system with lots of cool gear to find/make
• Terrain sampling and research, complete with semi accurate geological data*
• Godot plushie to punt into the void
• Story missions
• Some very esoteric secrets (for all the Voices of the Void lovers out there <3)
• Custom music player and posters
• Vistas to contemplate your existence while looking at
• Runs on a potato
• Corporate espionage 

*I am not a geologist, but I've tried to keep things fairly accurate :3

This game is very much a work-in-progress. AS OF NOW: this description does not reflect the version you can get on itch. Said version will be available soon. 

MacOS note: If the game gives you an error related to it being a potential virus, run this command thru terminal:

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine <PATH TO APP>

For the path you can just drag the app into the terminal window.
